How do I change screens in a dual- or multi-monitor set up?

To adjust your display settings and optimize your viewing experience, follow the detailed steps outlined below.

Windows Settings

  1. Open Display Settings:

    • Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings.
  2. Extend Your Displays:
    • Click the "Duplicate desktop" option, and change it to "Extend desktop" instead (if not already done)
  3. Identify Your Monitors:

    • Click on the Identify button to see numbers on your screens, helping you recognize which monitor is which.
  4. Rearrange Your Displays:

    • Drag and drop the display icons to match the physical arrangement of your monitors. This ensures that you can move your mouse intuitively between screens.
  5. Set Primary Display:

    • Click on the monitor you want to set as your primary display.
    • Check the box that says Make this my main display.
  6. Adjust Display Settings:

    • Scroll down to Scale & layout to adjust the resolution, scaling, and orientation for each monitor.
  7. Apply Changes:

    • Click Apply to save your settings.

Uneekor Settings

  1. Open Uneekor Launcher:
    • Double-click on the Uneekor Launcher desktop icon.
  2. Open the Start Menu:
    • Click on the Start menu option in the vertical menu to the left.
  3. Open the Software's Settings:
    • In the Software section, click the Settings button within the desired software tile.
  4. Select the Main Display Screen:
    • From the dropdown list titled "Main display screen", choose the screen you want the software to display on. Note the number overlays in the top-left of each screen, which correlates to the numbered options available.
  5. Apply Changes:
    • Click Close to save your settings.
