How do I connect the Swing Optix® cameras to my Uneekor system?

To connect your Swing Optix® cameras to your Uneekor system, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the cameras directly to your PC's USB 3.0 ports or higher. Avoid using adapters, hubs, or extension cables, except for USB 3.0 Type-C to USB 3.0 Type-A adapters and active extension cables.
    1. Identify the USB 3.0 ports on your PC by looking for a blue/red/orange color, a lightning bolt symbol, or the letters "SS" next to them.
  2. Plug the cameras into different sides of your PC if possible. For example, if one camera is plugged into the back of the PC, plug the other one into the top or front of the PC. (For those more technically minded, connecting them to different USB controllers will suffice.)
  3. Remove any lens covers and tune your camera by making minor adjustments to the focus (fisheye and telephoto lens), aperture and zoom dials (telephoto lens). Rotate these dials slowly, as they are sensitive.
  4. Ensure you have enough lighting for the cameras. High-speed cameras require more light to avoid dark or grainy images, due to the shutter opening and closing rapidly.
  5. Further adjust the image in VIEW once the cameras are registered through the Uneekor Launcher management software's Install menu. Open VIEW, go to the Swing page, click Setting in the top-right, and select the Optix tab to gain access to the sliders which can be adjusted for your lighting environment.

Following these tips will help ensure optimal performance and connectivity of your Swing Optix® cameras.
