How do I connect the Swing Optix® cameras to my Uneekor system?

To connect your Swing Optix® cameras to your Uneekor system, follow these steps:

  1. Identify your PC's USB 3.0 ports: Identify the USB 3.0 ports on your PC by looking for a blue/red/orange color, a lightning bolt symbol, or the letters "SS" next to them.
  2. Connect directly via USB 3.0: Connect the cameras directly to these ports. Do not use any adapters, hubs, or extension cables, except for USB 3.0 Type-C to USB 3.0 Type-A adapters and active extension cables*.
  3. Space them apart: Plug the cameras into different sides of your PC if possible. For example, if one camera is plugged into the back of the PC, plug the other one into the top or front of the PC. If they are side-by-side or on the same row of USBs (aka same USB controller), they overload that USB controller, resulting in a lower framerate (anywhere between 15-90 fps typically, rather than the expected 120 fps).

*Extension cables will not work with our provided 21 ft cable, due to the cable's built-in repeater. If you do this, you will either see either no connection or an unstable connection. Only cables without a repeater included will work with active extension cables (such as our 15 ft cable).

Failure to follow the tips above may result in lowered framerate (due to either data transfer limits or power draw limits for your PC's USB ports).
