How do I troubleshoot network connectivity issues during online play or updates?

If you ever have a slow connection with golf software, try the following:
  • Check your internet connection
    • Make sure your PC is running at the expected speed (compare with golf software vs without golf software), using an internet speed testing website (i.e., speedtest.net)
  • Uninstall/Disable network throttling software/settings
    • Uninstall Gigabyte's App Center software (and other related Gigabyte software) — can throttle launch monitor's network connection, as well as internet speed
    • Uninstall Killer Intelligence Center / Killer Control Center software — can throttle launch monitor's network connection, as well as internet speed
    • Disable Lenovo Vantage software's Network Boost — throttles launch monitor's network connection, as well as internet speed
    • Uninstall any other software that promise "driver boosting" or "network boosting" (such as IObit) — throttles launch monitor's network connection, as well as internet speed
  • Update & configure PC drivers
    • Update your PC's Ethernet driver
    • Configure the Ethernet driver to disable all Power Saving-related settings (in both Power Management and Advanced tabs)
