How do I mount the launch monitor and cameras?

Launch monitor mounting

To properly install your launch monitor, it must be securely mounted to its bracket on the ceiling. Use the provided screws to attach the bracket directly to a joist in your ceiling. Joists are designed to support significant weight, ensuring the stability of your launch monitor. Failing to mount the bracket to a joist can result in improper support, leading to the potential for the launch monitor to fall, which may cause injury.

For further instruction both on how to mount the launch monitor, and software setup, please follow the relevant user manual for your launch monitor from our website's Resources page.

Swing Optix® camera mounting

We recommend mounting the Uneekor Swing Optix® cameras on tripods for ease of adjustability, and due to our recommendation of placing them 5-6 ft away from the player at hip height. The cameras must be mounted at a 90° (counterclockwise) angle, as the software presents the camera feed in a portrait orientation.

Finally, make sure the cameras are connected to a USB 3.0 (or higher) Type-A port, typically indicated by blue, orange or red, or the letters "SS" adjacent to it. Avoid use of USB extension cables where possible, but if needed, you can use active extension cables in conjunction with the shorter 15 ft USB cable we provide.

If your cameras appear to be choppy, you may have inadvertently connected them to a USB 2.0 port, or you may have plugged the power-hungry and resource-intensive cameras into the same row of USB ports.

Try plugging it into a different USB port, check the camera framerate through the Uneekor Launcher management software's Install menu for the cameras, and repeat as needed until your cameras achieve the expected framerate.

Extension cables do not work with our provided 21 ft cables, due to its built-in repeater. Attempting to do so may show a blue light on the camera, but no camera video feed when in use.

Only cables without a repeater, such as our 15 ft cable, will work with active extension cables.

For further instruction both on how to mount the cameras, and software setup, please follow our website's Swing Optix® Setup Guide (also available on the Resources page).
