What is a golf simulator, and how does it work?

A golf simulator (aka launch monitor or swing analyzer) is a measuring instrument that accurately tracks ball (and optionally club) data in the golf simulator industry. It works by using various technologies (i.e., radar, photometric, etc.) to detect the ball strike and measure flight path, speed, spin rate, and other data metrics.

Uneekor launch monitors work using photometric technology, consisting of high-speed cameras combined with infrared light. Our patented Dimple Optix technology captures the dimples of any golf ball, providing detailed and accurate data.
